As SxSW continues to be all the rage, one of the most anticipated parties in town is the Pepsi MAX Presents Snoop Dogg’s Funk n Soul Extravaganza with Mayer Hawthorne and the County & DAM-FUNK on March 19th (7pm) at the Pepsi MAX Lot (Whitley Warehouse, 301 Brazos Street, Austin TX). This is the first time all three artists will be performing on one stage and fans will be treated to a night full of funk, soul, West coast beats and a whole lot of Snoop D-O-DOUBLE-G! In addition, leading up to the Funk n Soul Extravaganza, Pepsi MAX and GrooveShark teamed up to find one lucky act to open for Snoop Dogg during The Pepsi MAX Grooveshark Center Stage event last night. Artists competing for the opening spot includes: Skyzoo, Pharoahe Monch, Electric Method, Deluka and Hank & Cupcakes. Fans in Austin and at home had the chance to view the performances and vote at PepsiMAX.com/SxSW to determine who will open for Snoop Dogg at the Saturday night Extravaganza!
