I was behind the turntables last night for the listening session for Pete Rock and Sim-N-Wessun’s Monumental, hosted by Juan Epstein’s Cipha Sounds. The album actually sounds great (the song “This One” featuring Top Dog & Jahdan Blakkamoore bangs) and it will definitely be blasted out of some headphones when it drops later this summer.
