A (2)Dope Contest: Win a Copy of DOOM’s Operation Doom’s Day 4xLP

blame it on JES7 September 20, 2011

Today, the dopehouse has teamed up with Stones Throw for a (2)dope contest. Here’s your chance to win a copy of MF Doomʻs (aka Zev Love X) Operation Doom’s Day 4xLP Box Set. However, we’re not gonna let these slide as easy as entering an email this time. We’d like to see the creative side of you all come out. So, how do you enter for a chance to win? Easy, grab a camera and snap a photo of your MF Doom collection (including any KMD stuff) and send it to 2dopestonesthrowcontest[at]gmail[dot]com with the word Peach Fuzz as the subject. The person with the most creative photo will be chosen as the winner one week from today [9/13]. Get to snapping! Weʻll also be choosing the winner for last weekʻs contest and sending an email to the winner. Big shouts to my man Hav and Stones Throw.

Vinyl Box Set Contains:
4 RECORDS: The album, the instrumentals, b-sides, alternate versions. Tin box with four records protected by paper dividers and cushioned inner box, as seen in the photos below.
LYRIC BOOK: In large 7×7-inch format, 32 pages.
CARDS: The 10 Doomsday MC card set.
Weight: 3.5 LBS

MF DOOM’s debut album OPERATION: DOOMSDAY was originally released in 1999. It has seen at least two different versions on different labels, gone in and out of print, bootlegged, and even released once with a cheap scan of the original cover. This is the first complete & remastered version of OPERATION: DOOMSDAY, containing the original album, alternate versions, b-sides and instrumentals – 42 tracks total – with all new artwork.

UPDATE: We have a winner! Peep Karl’s winning photo after the jump. Thanks to EVERYONE who participated. There’ll be more contests in the future so keep it locked!
