Recently, Red Bull sat down with Redman, Joell Ortiz and Schoolly D during their involvement with the Red Bull EmSee series, to discuss the first time they’ve ever spit rhymes on the mic.
Throughout the video, the three successful MCs tell their funny “first time” stories. For Redman, it was the time he performed at Lincoln Park when he was 16 years-old. For Joell, it was the first time he heard a cypher and decided to jump on stage right then and there; and for Schoolly D, his first time on stage he performed “Get Off Your Ass and Jam”.
