“Everybody wanna eat, don’t nobody wanna cook. That’s a metaphor for life.” That’s Dom Kennedy in the kitchen, looking healthy. “Doing it yourself is the new model to becoming something, he says. “Even if you don’t rap, there’s a way you can get to that level and be the star you want to be.” Apparently, besides music, the Leimert Park, Los Angeles native is a master motivational speaker.
