One of my favorite cuts off Hasan’s Music Is My Weapon gets the visual treatment. I have the utmost respect for Hasan as you can tell he’s sincere about helping those in a struggle out, while we live in a world full of plastic people. All profits from the sales of his album are going directly to Guinea-Bissau in West Africa to build medical clinics and schools, and to over-all, better living conditions.
The project has already raised over $3,500 towards the goal of $14,500 to construct the school, well, and medical facility in Guinea-Bissau, West Africa. School construction is set to begin next month with an estimated completion of March 2012. Every EP purchase will go directly to the It Takes A Village project and further advancing these goals.
