In just six weeks, Jeezy’s comeback LP TM 103: The Hustlerz Ambition has sold over 500,000 copies, garnering him the first Gold-selling hip-hop LP of 2012. Some may still think that going gold means bollocks (myself included), but in an industry that doesn’t move nearly as many units as it once did in its heyday (even some A-list artists last year that were predicted to do really well had – by their standards at least – underwhelming sales) and turns to everybody but themselves as sources of the blame, this is an accomplishment. Jizzle took to the Twitter to announce the success:
