Can’t say I’m familiar with the Los Angeles (by way of Chicago) emcee/producer Kid Static, but this is pretty fresh. From the tripped out visuals to the hypnotizing hook and melodic verses, I’m digging it. Be on the lookout for his upcoming album, It Gleams, due out June 1st.
This song is about that first moment when you meet someone and realize everything is insanely beautiful. Everything looks different – everything sounds different – it’s that moonlight.
