A Slick Jackson Film
This past Saturday I attended BarrelhouseBKLYN’s second annual summer event, this time held on a rooftop in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, where I was asked to spin a quick set as a last-minute guest DJ. Within thirty minutes of my turn on the turntables, things had gotten so crazy/ignorant that cops surrounded the block and shut the entire party down hours before it was supposed to end.
This is the end result of said madness. Props to Ashani for letting me rock, and apologies for getting the whole thing 86’d. What can I say, gangster rap made me do it.
