The Bronx upstart gives us some insight to his childhood with his latest single release.
Grandma’s Plastic Covered Couch” is a metaphor used to explain how memories of the past events and people are preserved and never forgotten. Something that we see often in urban households are couches covered in plastic, usually by the request of the grandmother of the house. The purpose was to keep the furniture in best shape for as long as possible, which is what Euro is doing with these memories of his childhood. The track also keeps the memory of legendary producer J Dilla alive as the beat was created as a tribute to him. As Euro League reveals the childhood version of himself to show you his upbringing, he also shows you the people and events that influenced him to be the artist that he is today.
