Sometimes, all it takes is a live performance to capture my attention. In the case of Kev Marcus and Wil B, collectively known as Black Violin, their live performance during a showcase at SXSW a few weeks ago was absolutely captivating and made me a huge fan. A pair of classically trained viola and violin players from South Florida, they have been performing everywhere from sold-out shows on Broadway to even President Obama’s Inaugural Ball since their inception nearly a decade ago. But enough jibba jabba; enjoy what I have enjoyed for the last two weeks, their 2007 self-titled LP and its 2013 follow-up, down bottom.
