Many times when an “alternative” group features a rap guest, the obvious marketing ploy shines bright. But with Australia’s Hiatus Kaiyote — who are already seeing success from the 2012 original off their debut album Tawk Tomahawk — the addition of Q-Tip makes perfect sense as the Abstract seems right at home on the Tribe-esque cut. And if you’re digging what you hear, the Aussie quartet are re-releasing their debut on July 16th. Something, I’ll definitely be purchasing.
