With the first show cancelled, Drake decided to pull out all the stops for the fourth annual OVO Fest. On top of Lil Wayne, Big Sean, J. Cole, The Weeknd, French Montana, Ma$e (which explains this), Diddy, Wale, Miguel, A$AP Rocky and TLC — who all made their way to the stage for various reasons — Kanye West caused the most frenzy (both at the arena and Twitter) by walking onstage and giving a surprise performance of “New Slaves,” “All of the Lights” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.” So much for that rivalry eh? Nothing Was the Same, September 17th! UPDATE: Now with video, courtesy of Nigel D.
Kanye: “Me & Hov would have never made Watch The Throne if this n*gga [Drake] wasn’t putting pressure on us like that.
Drake: “This one of my first mentors, one of the first people that embraced me, my role model, y’all make some noise for the god that is Kanye West.”
