With Dre and Snoop’s classic “Deep Cover” as the soundscape, Baltimore’s Rickie Jacobs pays homage to Snoop Doggy Dogg on his latest single release.

When I was 6 years old my mother wouldn’t let me listen to rap, actually between the ages of 6 and 10. My father though, was a big fan of Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg during the “Death Row era” and in my opinion was a great moment in my life because I was introduced to Snoop Dogg. Being from Baltimore, Maryland bumping Snoop was an experience, you just knew the vibe was different in California. Since then I’ve explored other artists and fell in love with the culture. I wouldn’t be here without Snoop so it’s only right that I pay homage.
