Phantogram – Black Out Days

blame it on JES7 September 14, 2013

I’m a huge fan of Phantogram, an indie band comprised of Sarah Barthel & Josh Carter. The first time I heard of the Saratoga Springs, NY-based band was on their single, “Don’t Move” from their 2011 EP, Nightlife. Phantogram stretches across many genres, including Hip-Hop and soul (which can be heard on “Turning Into Stone” which features an Otis Redding sample), and more recently with their work on Big Boi’s Vicious Lies & Dangerous Rumors. Down bottom is their newest single, “Black Out Days” which, I’m guessing will appear on their upcoming, untitled sophomore album. Don’t sleep!
