Earlier today Kool G Rap and Necro were the guest spots on Sway in the Morning in support of their new album Once Upon A Crime (Nov. 19). During call-ins, a fan asked about “The Anthem” and Sway almost lost his noodle. Putting things on hold, Sway begins to reminisce on the classic cut that featured RZA, Tech N9ne, Eminem, Xzibit, Pharoahe Monch, Jayo Felony, Chino XL, Kool G Rap and KRS-One.
Back to business, Papoose calls in to salute Kool G Rap and speak on his Hoodie Season mixtape. KGR returned the praise, calling Pap’s “Control” freestyle “serious fire.”
