GQ called on K. Dot (and his creeper-stache) to grace the cover to their annual Men Of The Year issue. As part of the cover story, Kendrick sat down with the men’s fashion magazine just after the MTV VMAs.

In the midst of the whole “Control” madness and Kendrick vs Drake mumbo jumbo, the Compton rapper was asked if he was still cool with the Toronto kid. In response, he said “Pretty cool. I mean, I would be okay if we weren’t.” A statement that might hold weight considering Drake has said on more than one occassion that he wasn’t that impressed with the verse.

Kendrick also explained why he decided to attend Diddy’s VMA afterparty (you know, the one where Diddy and J. Cole reportedly got in a fight over “Control”).

I only go when there’s a point. Usually the point is just niggas drinking. But walking through the club the week after I released the ‘Control’ verse? That’s a point!

The GQ issue is on newsstands now.
