Kanye West Talks Biggie, Michael Jackson, Sampling & Discovering CyHi the Prynce

With the Yeezus Tour making a stop in the A last night, Kanye West checked into Atlanta’s V103 radio to with DJ Greg Street about breaking down barriers as an artist, Michael Jackson paving the way for artist like him and his “creative genius” and more.

In part two (shown below), Ye talks about discovering G.O.O.D. Music’s Atlanta representative CyHi The Prynce, hints at a new album and reveals he doesn’t like Biggie’s “Juicy” and “Big Poppa” instrumentals.

Man that “Juicy” beat, I don’t like that beat man. And I don’t like the beat for [“Big Poppa”]. I don’t like the Dr. Dre worm noise on that. And I’m sure Biggie didn’t like it either. Biggie Smalls made you think that beat was cold, it was not a cold beat man.
