It’s been a bittersweet ride since the Chicago collective Kids These Days announced their break up back in May. Although Vic Mensa has made a name for himself and dropped one of my favorite projects of the year, there’s still a void where KTD is missed.
Enter Marrow, a quartet consisting of former Kids members Lane Beckstrom, Liam Cunningham and Macie Stewart alongside drummer Matt Carroll. Teaming up with frequent collaborator Austin Vesely, the group drops off an eight-minute video that goes along with a pair of their songs (“She Chose You” and “Mother of Maladies”). Take a look above and get ready for the debut project Two, dropping December 19th.
