I’ll be honest: I haven’t felt a ways about a major-label project in quite some time, much less from an R&B/pop artist. Regardless of personal opinion, you gotta give it up for the way it was not promoted (keep it real: if the project was “promoted” in the typical “single-video-teaser-snippet” manner, would as many people be as receptive to it?) and the fact that, well, the album’s pretty damn good to boot.
