Hip Hop celebrated it’s 40th anniversary earlier this year and XXL takes a look back on their year-end issue. Showcasing Outkast, Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J and Lil Wayne on their five-collector’s edition tribute covers, the issue lists the(ir) Top 10 most important albums and songs each year from 1973-present.
Also included in the issue are stories on YG and DJ Mustard, Tech N9ne, Nipsey Hussle, Isaiah Rashad and more.
Issues are said to hit stands on December 31st, but I picked up the Hov cover two days ago at Walgreens. *shrugs…
