Hustle Gang’s Doe B Shot & Killed

The hip hop community suffers another loss as Hustle Gang emcee Doe B, born Glenn Thomas, was shot and killed in Alabama this morning.

Details are fairly unknown at this point, but initial reports are that the Mongomery, Alabama native was killed in a fatal shooting that occurred at Centennial Hill Bar & Grill in the early hours on December 28th.

T.I. shared the news on Instagram by sharing the above image with the following message:

RIP to my lil brother Doe B. We gon miss u my nigga. U’ll never be forgotten & U WILL NOT DIE IN VAIN. We Love U champ. Always. Just rest now my nigga….WE GOT IT From here.

A representative from Doe B’s camp confirmed his passing, releasing the following statement on Doe’s official Twitter account.

On behalf of Doe B’s management I would like to thank all of his fans and say Rest in Peace my brother Glenn Thomas.

Police say the gunfire happened around 1 a.m. about a half-mile north of Alabama State University.

Police identified those killed as 21-year-old Kimberle Johnson and 22-year-old Glenn Thomas, both of Montgomery. They said Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. Thomas — an up-and-coming rapper known as Doe B. — was taken to Baptist Medical Center South, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police said in a statement that officers found six other victims with gunshot wounds. They said all of them were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Lt. Regina Duckett told The Montgomery Advertiser that those people were listed in stable condition on Saturday morning.

No arrests have been made yet.
