Drake’s Not A Fan Of Rolling Stone…

blame it on Meka February 13, 2014

Earlier today, Rolling Stone magazine debuted a piece on the Canadian star which, among other things, described his Neverland-esque palace, Rihanna, Jay-Z’s “art raps,” and other such things (including the infamous Macklemore comments). The real treat, however, was the supposed “off-the-record” comments Aubrey made in regards to Fabolous and Kanye West…

Speaking about Yeezus: “There were some real questionable bars on there,” Drake says of Kanye‘s Yeezus album. “Like that ‘Swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Fabolous wouldn’t say some shit like that.”

Whether it was off-the-record or not, RS scribe Jonah Weiner decided “the hell with this” and threw it in the article for the world to see. In response, Drake took to the Twitter…

Drake also wrote more (which have since been removed from his account):

“I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone. They also took my cover from me last minute and ran the issue. I’m disgusted with that. RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil.”

Regardless of what truly happened, everything is out in the open for everybody – and I mean everybody – to digest. But, it’s 2014, so at this point we shouldn’t expect a “Hit ‘Em Up”-type response from anybody mentioned. Plus, at the end of the day it’s Drake’s opinion, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned from the c-section here at the DopeHouse it’s that everybody is going to say something that you’re not going to like but you just deal with it and keep it pushing.

Hell, I’m more concerned about how I can get a damb mini-castle like Aubrey. These ICDC College ads Master P is pushing on the television isn’t exactly the solution.
