Common made his way to the Power 106 in Los Angeles earlier today. After some thoughts about Kanye West’s College Dropout, the instrumental to the Chicago twosome’s “The Food” gets put on and Common proceeds to go in with an off the top of the head freestyle. Some real hip hop shit for your Friday morning!
Common’s Nobody Smiling LP with No I.D. is due out later this year. So far the two are batting a thousand with “War” and the Ab-Soul assisted “Made In Black America,” so the album is definitely on our most-anticipated list.
And since I can’t seem to sleep, let’s take it back to March 3, 2004 and watch Common and Kanye perform their BE collaboration on Chapelle’s Show.
