It’s a way more honest and personal project. I want people to feel like they really know me when they listen to something. People are listening to me now from all over the country, and when I visit their city, I want it to feel like a friend coming into town.
On a basic level, I’m better at rapping and also talking about experiences. Village Party is introspective but with a different bounce. It’s eloquent.
