Taylor Bennett, Chance the Rapper’s Little Brother, Drops New Song “Brother Man”

When you’re related to arguably one of the most bubbling artists in the industry (aka Chance the Rapper), one might think your road to success is paved in gold with Fidelity Investments’ green line leading the way. But as he’s stated in a past freestyle, Taylor Bennett is no “little Vic [Mensa]” and no “little Chance” and prefers to stand on his own two feet. A commendable stance that I’ve grown to appreciate more and more over the months I’ve known of his existence.

We may have missed the boat when he dropped The Taylor Bennett Show (available below) last year, but we’re set to stay on track from here on out. Making his DopeHouse debut, Taylor offers up the Dru-produced, Loyale Soulë-assisted “Brother Man” freestyle. Check it out below and be on the lookout for his next project, Mainstream Music, which is due out this Spring.
