Three and a half months into 2014 and the project I’ve listened to the most is Isaiah Rashad’s Cilvia Demo, hands down. One of my personal favorite joints is “Brad Jordan,” and whenever it comes on I find myself taking extra notice of the guest star, fellow TN emcee Michael da Vinci. Every time I hear his verse come on, I try and remind myself to check out his music. Sadly, I smoke too much and instantly forget. Until tonight!
As I’m finally packing for SXSW (my flight is in 8 hours smh), “Brad Jordan” came on shuffle and I jumped on the MacBook to search for some tunes. Landing on his Soundcloud page, I noticed he dropped “Err Body Wanna” about a month ago so that’s where his stay at the DopeHouse will begin. Take a listen below.
UPDATE: As I was pushing publish on the post, another song called “Goodbye Mr. December;” which finds Michael da Vinci vibing over Kanye West’s “Everything I Am” instrumental. On the song, he mentions submitting to 2DBZ while we slept. Sorry for that bruh…
