Back in February, the late night world was shook up as Jimmy Fallon replaced Jay Leno as the host of The Tonight Show, and Seth Myers snuck in to handle Late Night.
Now, after 34 years in the game, David Letterman is following suit and stepping down as host of The Late Show. In his place, Stephen Colbert — who will “retire the character he plays on [The Colbert Report] and will be himself” — with take command of the CBS show.
