Talk about a helluva week! Not only is Nas celebrating 20 years of Illmatic with the release of Illmatic XX, he also brought out JAY Z for a memorable performance at Coachella, and now he’s launching a new imprint.
A full calendar year after investing in Mass Appeal and becoming the publication’s associate publisher, the Queensbridge poet has officially launched his Mass Appeal imprint.
Kicking things off, Nas looked to the streets of Detroit and signed Boldy James.
Boldy, who joined Nas on stage at SXSW, recently released his Alchemist-produced My 1st Chemistry Set LP.
