I’ll be honest: I’ve never quite understood why she added an extra “I” to her name, but fortunately I’ve enjoyed much of her music over the years to really not care. This time around she takes a loop of the Incredible Bongo Band’s instantly-recognizable “Apache” (we all know what also sampled “Apache”). I can see this getting play at older-crowd functions during the warmer months of the year.
