This past Sunday our friends Miss Info and Eric & Jeff Rosenthal (mostly known as ItsTheReal) teamed up for a series of interviews outside Metlife Stadium during Hot 97’s Summer Jam. The brothers caught up with Nipsey Hussle, Chinx and Childish Gambino and the results are perfect… hence “A Perfect Interview.”
Nipsey Hussle: We asked him the tough questions, like, “The Chanel logo famously has two C’s. Is that a Crip thing?” as well as what he missed specifically about being on a major label (“nothing”) and about WebMD’s cure for an itchy trigger finger.
Childish Gambino: Donald Glover joined us to trot out his incredible and well-known impressions of Tina Fey, Chance The Rapper, Joel McHale and — of course — Childish Gambino. And yes, somehow, we even got him to smile.
Chinx: With Chinx draped over our shoulders, we argued over the King of New York title, asked him to give advice to Coke Boys and Girls — who would soon be Coke Men and Women — talked shop about baseball and made a bunch of puns/drug references along the way.
