The Artifacts’ El Da Sensei joins IseQold & Osi (collectively known as Detroit’s The Regiment) on “10,000 Strong”, a cut produced by Nick Speed (who has produced for Talib Kweli, Lloyd Banks, Proof, Danny Brown and more). “10,000 Strong” appears on The Regiment’s Live From The Coney Island available now.
As a group, we continue to strive to make a positive statement through our music whenever we can,” says Osi, one half of The Regiment. “Even though we’re artists, we feel it’s important it be known that we’re regular people too, and that we have a job to do and a responsibility to fulfill by using Hip Hop in a positive manner. That’s what our latest album is all about: using the platform of music that we’ve been given to uplift the city of Detroit and to give something positive to fans of Hip Hop music. ’10,000 Strong’ is our main statement in doing so.
