According to the Denver Post, three people were injured following a triple shooting Thursday night at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The shooting occurred in a parking lot after a concert which included ScHoolboy Q, Nas and Flying Lotus on the bill. The event benefited three local charities, including Gang Rescue and Support Project of Denver and Helping Our People Excel.
ScHoolboy Q was not injured during the shooting, although three others in the SUV Q was riding in did sustain non-life threatening injuries; with one victim being released from the hospital Friday morning.
A spokeswoman for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office stated “This is not just a coincidence. We think there is probably more to it than that. It does seem to be more targeted than random.”
The photo above shows Q being “detained” by (the Hip-Hop) police at the location where the shooting reportedly occurred, but Q tweeted that everything was all good and was headed to Iceland & New York the next day. He was not a suspect in the shooting.

What I want to know is why there were five police departments involved in the investigation? The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Denver Police, Lakewood Police, Morrison Police and Colorado State Patrol. Excessive much? Just saying.
