While Childish Major might not be a household name just yet, the South Carolina-born, Atlanta-living producer sure has been putting in the work. From Rocko Black Hippy’s “U.O.E.N.O.” to Jeezy’s “In My Head,” the tracks with Rome Fortune, Big K.R.I.T. (“Wolf on Wall Street“), and everything in between. And now, we’ve got a new project to look forward to.
This summer, August 15th to be exact, Childish and fellow SC native Matik Estrada will be releasing their Community Service EP. A joint project that delves into themes of trying to make it from a small town, and the enduring commitment one feels to home while searching for something more.
Today, the duo released the debut video from the LP, for the lead single “Family Matters.” Shot on a recent trip back home in Edgefield, SC. Check out the Goodwin-directed clip up top and as an added bonus, I’ve included “Take A Ride” below as well.
