With The Roots’ new album …and then you shoot your cousin out now, Black Thought and Questlove sat down with HuffPost Live for a lengthy discussion. Speaking on the album, their day job at The Tonight Show, performing with Dave Chappelle, and more.
The most entertaining portion though is at the 5:16 mark when Thought and Quest speak on their high school days, revealing they once squared off with (what would become) Boyz II Men in a talent show. Eventually taking the L because the singers “cheated with glitter.”
