To keep things 1000%, I have to admit, the last Diamond D LP I ever purchased was ’97’s Hatred, Passions and Infidelity. For whatever reason (read: laziness, sleeping, etc.) I just never got around to peeping any of his albums that followed Hatred…, besides hearing bits and pieces off The Huge Hefner Chronicles.

But best believe I will be supporting his next album, Diam Piece due out on August 26th via Dymond Mine Records. For the legendary DITC producer’s 7th studio LP, he’s gone and recruited a who’s who in Hip-Hop, including Black Rob, Hi-Tek, Step Brothers, The Pharcyde, Masta Ace, Guilty Simpson. Ah fvck it, just check the crazy ass tracklisting below and peep the first leak, “Rap Life” featuring Pharoahe Monch off the upcoming project.
