The DC Smithsonian recently announced at the DC Loves Dilla Tribute Concert that J Dilla’s celebrated MPC and Moog (custom built by Dr. Robert Moog) will find a home at the newly established museum of African American History & Culture.
The event/concert which also helps raise awareness on lupus (of which Dilla passed away from) also featured contemporaries including Pharoahe Monch, Phife Dawg, Bahamadia and was hosted by Grap Luva (Pete Rock’s soul/blood brother).
