Toronto beatsmith Chef Byer premiered his debut instrumental project, Weekend at Cheffie’s, just moments ago. The 11-track offering includes beats and interludes with acts Chef has worked with including the instrumental of OVO Sound’s OB OBrien’s “Steve Nash,” which Chef is responsible for the production on.
Chef also competed alongside Boi-1da and #TeamTO’s “Champion Sound Beat Battle” competition at SXSW 2014 back in March and co-produced #TeamTO’s Toronto anthem “416.”
