A couple of weeks ago, we received a very short teaser for a new Eminem song, “Fear Over Guts,” as featured in the trailer for The Equalizer (out Sept. 26th).
Now available on iTunes and for your listening pleasure, the question remains… are we getting a new album from Mr. Shady this year? There are a few clues hiding out there on the internet, including the latest spot for the aforementioned The Equalizer.
The screenshot above is taken from the end of the new spot (which has since been made Private on YouTube). Although it reads “From Shady XV – Black Friday,” it’s not confirmed just yet if this is a new album or a compilation project. Our guess is the latter.
Eric Vincent of Channel955 (who is a reputable source for lots of Eminem news) in Detroit also tweeted that Eminem will indeed be releasing a new album this Fall.
Brand new #Eminem song debuting at midnight, and new album this fall! RT @MathersJones: @IAmEricVincent @Channel955 what is the news?

Eminem himself confirmed the existence, but still… no additional information.
Yes it’s official… #SHADYXV Black Friday. https://t.co/B0WCDoEeVO — Marshall Mathers (@Eminem) August 25, 2014
UPDATE: Shady XV will be a double-album. One part Eminem greatest hits, one part Shady 2.0 compilation featuring Slaughterhouse, Yelawolf, D-12 and more.
