Last night, VH1 surprised me and actually aired something I watched on VH1 (my channel usually stays on VH1 Soul): a documentary on Atlanta’s rap scene, and its transition from a local sensation to its current nationwide dominance. With appearances from Lil Jon, Ludacris, Pastor Troy, Jermaine Dupri and many others, the docu-flick touches upon everything from Kriss Kross to Andre 3000’s infamous speech at the Source Awards and everything in between. If you missed it last night, catch it above.
