Now under the moniker CashUs King, the artist formerly known as Co$$ returns with his latest single, “Wait”, produced by DJ Mentos.
“I wrote this song to touch on the current social climate in the Black Community. Not only in Ferguson, but in every urban community of the United States… As outraged as I am about Police Brutality and the militarization of America’s police forces (including tanks for some some rural police forces), I’m even more outraged about the prevalence of Black on Black crime in African-American communities… However, before you act, *WAIT* and think about the consequences of what you say and do… R.I.P. to Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and every brother who has lost his life, whether it be to police brutality, or by the hand of his own Black peers.”
