Musiqq Soulchild, the man behind some of my favorite R&B jams (“Halfcrazy”, “Don’t Change”, “Just Friends”, etc), is now a rapper.
No, seriously.
Falling in line with Chris Brown, Trey Songz Trigga and all the other singers-with-raps, Musiq The Husel has dropped his self-titled EP, and it’s not great. Produced by J. Troy, The Husel EP is nothing but the same rehashed stuff we’ve heard over and over again.
Hopefully this is just a phase and The Husel gets back to the Musiq.
