Late last night, word got out that a new K. Dot song, possibly from his highly anticipated sophomore album, will hit the scene within the next few weeks.
Earlier today those rumors appear to be true, as Kendrick himself – after sharing details on the project – took to Twitter to reveal the cover art for the song, simply called “i.” Produced by Rahki (Eminem’s “Won’t Back Down,” Evidence, and more), TDE’s CEO Top Dawg also left this message on his Twitter…
Be Patient…i wont let yall down…. kdot and @jayrock coming soon….#TDE

… essentially confirming what we’ve all hoped: that both Jay Rock and Kendrick’s respective albums will be the last two albums (out of the planned six) to be released from the label this year. While there’s no official word on when the actual song will drop, the news alone is sure to make any fan of the Compton emcee very excited.
