Following a performance of the U.S. National Anthem at Dodgers Stadium, Tinashe released her debut album Aquarius. Led by the recently released single “Pretend” with A$AP Rocky and the ScHoolboy Q-assisted “2 On,” the album is rather impressive. After a few spins, I’m actually quite surprised at how good it is. I mean, I enjoyed the singles, but I still had my reservations on the L.A. native’s ability to rock a full-length. I don’t any more.
