Hands down, the most memorable moment of tonight’s BET Hip Hop Awards 2014 came when it was time for Common, Vince Staples and Jay Electronica to hit the stage. The three delivered a powerful performance of their “Kingdom (Remix)” from Common’s Nobody Smiling LP.
The trio were also joined by Michael Brown’s parents for a touching moment of silence, in memory of the unarmed teen who was shot and killed by a police officer in Ferguson.
