Stussy, and the official King of Digging, and my Japanese brother DJ Muro recently got together to put together a little tribute to the one and only Curtis Mayfield.
On Stussy’s end, the brand, which is nearly pushing 35 years in the street wear game, has put together a capsule collection of t-shirts, while Muro has put together a mix of some of Curtis’ hits, B-sides and rarities, including a few joints off the highly underrated film, Short Eyes.
So yeah. This is gonna be in rotation on my stereo for awhile, being as big a fan of the legendary Curtis Mayfield as I am.
