Stimulus x Jimi Hendrix – Electric Land

The Real Live Band’s Stimulus gets on his dolo tip in his latest passion project, Stimmi Hendrix. In his words:

“I decided to produce this project because of how much Hendrix has meant to me as an artist. I discovered Jimi Hendrix when I started looking up sampling credits of hip hop songs. I saw his name in the credits of Pharcyde’s “Passin Me By” and went from there. I ended buying as much of his catalog as possible. Listening to Are You Experienced in my dorm room in High School, I was hooked immediately and stopped listening to anything else. I hope this project introduces more people to his work as well as the work of other artists he influenced” Stimulus states. He goes on to add “on an August 23rd many many years ago, Jimi Hendrix made his first performance in my beloved home town (Brooklyn, NY). On an August 23rd one year earlier, Hendrix released his debut album Are You Experienced. Today, I invite you to listen to the first leak, Electric Land, from my forthcoming project entitled Stimmi Hendrix: A Ritual Union.

Be on the look out for the entire project, Stimmi Hendrix: A Ritual Reunion out Nov. 27th.
