I really, really like Carlitta Durand’s music. Whether she’s killing hooks for other artists (her chorus on Little Brother’s “After The Party” is top 5) or doing a project based on the relationship of Doug Funnie and Patty Mayonnaise, she can never do wrong in my eyes. She’s currently working on a new album (her first in nearly three years), I’ll Be Gorgeous When I Die, and she recently let loose the first offering from the project. Hopefully it comes sooner than later.
