Since being sent to jail in July for probation violation rumors have persisted surrounding Meek Mill’s eventual release, from as early as September to as late as January of next year. However, he may be free by the time you sit down to eat dinner with your loved ones tonight.
Both Dave Schratwieser and Steve Keeley of Fox29 Philly reported (er, tweeting actually) that one Robert Williams will be free sometime today, getting an early release for good behavior.

If these holds true, one can wonder what will happen to Meek’s since-shelved Dreams Worth More Than Money, which predictably got pushed back once he went to prison (and, in my eyes, forced Rick Ross to drop Hood Billionaire in its place).
UPDATE: It’s official: Meek has finally been released as of this afternoon.

That moment when you realize Meek Mill’s name is Robert Williams, and Rick Ross’ name is William Roberts, though.
