We’ve all seen folks who, if we’re at a rap concert, stand-up comedy show or sporting event, truly believe that they could do the job of the person they’re watching better than them. I mean, you can YouTube search any athlete and find a good chunk of “I bet you can’t guard me” videos throughout the results. For the most part, we end up just smirking or rolling our eyes whenever we hear or see someone who’s wildly inferior and talent-less say that they’re otherwise.
However, when Prince does it, however? Different story.
I’ve heard stories of Prince just up and taking over someone else’s show if he deems it worthy (read: you stink at your profession), but seeing him actually do it during this random jazz concert – then shaking his head in disgust at them while he’s walking away – is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen today. Also, RIP to Prince’s social media profiles (and YouTube page). Guess he’s deemed them not worthy of his presence either.
